Ashtanga yoga

It comprises of six series, the final four of which are done by a small number of people from the West, and was spread west by K.Pattabhi Jois, one of the finest yoga instructors of the twentieth century.

Every Ashtanga yoga session combines ujjayi breathing with a set of advanced primary series poses that are always performed in the same order. Vinyasa Flow yoga is a contemporary styles of  of yoga that has been adapted to the modern lifestyle. Poses (asanas) are performed at a different tempo than in traditional Ashtanga yoga, with no rigid order of the primary series and at a different pace: slower (Slow Flow) or more dynamic (Fast Flow) (Power Vinyasa).
