Corpse Yoga Pose (Savasana)

Why is corpse pose such a challenge?

Contrary to what you may think, this Yoga pose is more challenging.
It can be difficult to relax because of distractions brought on by the body.
Your body may experience unease, heat, or anxiety.
The yoga practice’s last pose, savasana, addresses this difficulty. Corpse yoga pose is also known as savasana (death = death), and in certain traditions it is referred to as Anandasana (“Yoga in everyday life,” e.g. ananda = happiness). In the sense that we are entirely immobile and relaxed (there is no tension in that state:-), this yoga pose has “connections with death.”

1. Step by Step Corpse Yoga Pose

  • Savasana is a yoga pose in which our bodies are in a neutral position.

  • Gently stretch your right leg as you inhale and exhale.
  • Then did the same thing with the left leg, stretching it all the way to the heel.Check if your legs are symmetrically spread in reference to the imagined line of the spine by relaxing both legs by softening the groin.
  • Allow your feet to fall equally to the side as well.

Savasana should also calm our sense organs in addition to our bodies.
Soften the root of the tongue and nostrils, the inner ear canals, and the skin of the forehead, particularly around the root of the nose and between the brows.
Allow your eyes to rest comfortably in their sockets and “gaze” toward your heart.
