Ingredients:

  • 2 blocks of  fresh tofu
  • 50 ml  tamari sauce
  • 2 teaspoons of  smoked paprika
  • vegetables of your choice-for the glaze-
  • 50 g  cane sugar
  • 30 ml water
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 30 ml melted (vegan) butter

Preparation:

1. Place the tofu in a zip-lock plastic bag with the tamari sauce and smoked paprika, mix everything well, and let it marinate for at least an hour.

2. Then bake the tofu in the oven for 50 minutes at 180 degrees.

3. Meanwhile, prepare the glaze by mixing all the ingredients in a smaller pot until the sugar dissolves.

4. Pour the glaze over the tofu and bake for another 15 minutes.

5. Then slice the tofu thinly and serve with your choice of vegetables (roasted, sautéed, stir-fried, boiled..).
